What is a Pronoun? (सर्वनाम भनेको के हो?)

A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun. Pronouns are used to avoid repetition of the same noun in sentences. Instead of repeating the noun, we use pronouns to make sentences simpler and smoother.

सर्वनाम भनेको संग्याको स्थानमा प्रयोग गरिने शब्द हो। सर्वनामले वाक्यमा एकै शब्दको बारम्बार प्रयोगलाई टार्न मद्दत पुर्याउँछ। यसको प्रयोगले वाक्यलाई छोटो र स्पष्ट बनाउँछ।

	They are playing football.	उनीहरू फुटबल खेल्दैछन्।
	I like chocolate.	म चोकलेट मन पराउँछु।
	You are smart.	तिमी चतुर छौ।
	He runs fast.	उ छिटो दौडन्छ।
	We study English.	हामी अंग्रेजी अध्ययन गर्छौं।
	They work hard.	उनीहरू कडा मिहिनेत गर्छन्।
	I am happy today.	म आज खुशी छु।
	She sings well.	ऊ राम्रो गाउँछे।
	They are my classmates.	उनीहरु मेरा सहपाठी हुन् ।
Objective Pronouns (कर्मवाचक सर्वनाम)	I saw him yesterday.	मैले उसलाई हिजो देखेँ
	She called me.	उसले मलाई बोलाई।
	He helped us.	उसले हामीलाई मद्दत गर्यो।
	They saw her at the park.	उनीहरूले उनीलाई पार्कमा देखे।
	I love it.	मलाई यो मन पर्छ।
	Can you see them?	के तिमी उनीहरूलाई देख्न सक्छौ?
	He gave me a gift.	उसले मलाई उपहार दियो।
	She asked us for help.	उसले हामीलाई मद्दतको लागि सोधिन्।
	You will help me.	तिमी मलाई मद्दत गर्नेछौं।
	I want to talk to her.	म उससँग कुरा गर्न चाहन्छु।
	She told him the news.	उसले उनलाई समाचार भनिन्।
	I gave it to him.	मैले उसलाई दिएँ l
	He invited us to the party.	उसले हामीलाई पार्टीमा बोलायो।
	I met her yesterday.	मैले उनीलाई हिजो भेटें।
	She thanked me for the help.	उनले मलाई मद्दतको लागि धन्यवाद दिए l
Possessive Pronouns (स्वामित्व दर्शाउने सर्वनाम)	This is my book.	यो मेरो किताब हो।
	That is your car.	त्यो तिम्रो गाडी हो।
	This is his pencil.	यो उसको पेन्सिल हो l
	This is her dress.	यो उसको ड्रेस हो।
	This is our house.	यो हाम्रो घर हो।
	This is their school.	यो उनीहरूको स्कूल हो।
	My phone is new.	मेरो फोन नयाँ हो।
	Her handwriting is beautiful.	उनको लेखाइ सुन्दर छ।
	Their team won the match.	उनीहरूको टोलीले म्याच जित्यो।
	Our house is big.	हाम्रो घर ठूलो छ।
	His shoes are black.	उनको जुत्ता कालो छ l
	Your answer is correct.	तपाईको उत्तर सही छ l
	My mother is a doctor.	मेरी आमा डाक्टर हुनुहुन्छ।
