Continuous Tenses (अपूर्णकाल)

Continuous Tense (also called Progressive Tense) is used to describe actions that are happening right now, were happening, or will be happening at a specific time. It focuses on actions that are ongoing or in progress.

Continuous Tense (जसलाई Progressive Tense पनि भनिन्छ) भन्नाले कुनै काम हाल भइरहेको, अतीतमा भइरहेको, वा भविष्यमा भइरहेको हुने अवस्थालाई जनाउँछ। यो काल चालु अवस्थामा भइरहेको कामलाई देखाउन प्रयोग गरिन्छ।

Present Continuous Tense (वर्तमान अपूर्णकाल)

Present Continuous Tense is used to describe actions that are happening right now, or actions that are going on around the present time.

वर्तमान अपूर्णकाल अहिले भइरहेका कार्यहरू, वा अहिलेको समयमा भइरहेको काम जनाउन प्रयोग हुन्छ।

Structure (रचना):

Subject + is/am/are + V¹ + ing + Object
Subject + is/am/are + क्रियाको -ing रूप + वस्तु

Past Continuous Tense (भूतकाल अपूर्णकाल)

Past Continuous Tense is used to describe actions that were happening at a certain time in the past. It shows a past action that was ongoing.

भूतकाल अपूर्णकाल त्यस्तो कार्य जनाउन प्रयोग हुन्छ जुन भूतकालमा कुनै निश्चित समयमा भइरहेकै थियो।

Structure (रचना):

Subject + was/were + V¹ + ing + Object
Subject + was/were + क्रियाको -ing रूप + वस्तु

The Future Continuous Tense is used to talk about actions that will be happening at a certain time in the future.

भविष्यत अपूर्णकाल त्यस्तो कार्य बताउन प्रयोग गरिन्छ जुन भविष्यमा कुनै निश्चित समयमा भइरहनेछ।
